Since 1974, the Beaulieu family has been handcrafting custom cabinets at its historic workshop in Plaistow, New Hampshire. David Beaulieu Jr. grew up in the shop and has spent 40 years perfecting every aspect of woodworking, design and installation.
Our reputation is built on Yankee quality. As New Englanders, we take pride in creating custom-made pieces that last for generations. Our experienced craftsmen handle every step of your project – from the raw hardwood to the finished product.
Call or email us at any time to arrange a free consultation at our New Hampshire cabinet shop. On your arrival, David Beaulieu Jr. will give you a personal tour of our 4,000-foot space. You’ll have the opportunity to talk in-depth about your cabinetry project, your style preferences, your deadlines and your budget.
First we listen, and then we give our honest advice. Whether it’s a new kitchen, a new bathroom, other cabinetry or home renovation, we focus on constructing cabinetry that fits seamlessly into your existing space. Flexibility and transparency are part of the deal.
Thanks to our handcrafted approach to cabinet making, there is no limit to the furniture we can create for your home. Function, style, storage, organization, historic detail – hand us your dream list and we will design the solution.
We can work from a simple idea, a broad sketch or even an architectural plan. Whatever the project, we will always create a detailed CAD drawing, which offers a complete set of floor plans, detailed elevation views, lighting schematics and perspective views.
After examining your floor plan and elevation view, we will produce a line-itemed estimate that matches the results of our initial consultation. Accurate estimates are built on information — the more details you can provide for us, the more we can help!
Our final quote will be based on detailed drawings showing the agreed-upon plan, elevations, style, accessories selected, materials required and finishes. Any revisions will have their own detailed estimate with price comparisons from the original plan. An estimated time to installation is also included.
Once we have your approval on design, construction will begin. During this time, each one of your custom-made cabinets will pass through a set of skilled hands. You’ll meet many of these craftsmen during your tour of the cabinet shop.
From the doors and the drawer fronts, to the wood grain and the finish, we pay attention to the smallest detail. Countertops are precisely sized and cut; doors are hand-sanded and painted; pieces are routinely checked for quality. This is work you won’t see in factories.
Next to the actual building of your cabinetry, your installation is the most important step in our project. Before departure, every piece is given a final inspection and carefully wrapped for shipment. We provide a fully insured delivery of your custom cabinets from our workshop to your home.
And your home could be anywhere! Our certified installers service all areas of the continental United States. As part of our commitment to quality, we offer a one-year warranty on the workmanship of your installation and a lifetime guarantee on our cabinets.
